I think this would be awesome and should be repeated on a regular basis. Great idea for a fundraiser or a way to get people to Dana's on an otherwise off night. I bet there are a lot of drinking myths that could be tested responsibly in a way that wouldn't get Dana's shut down. What and where you choose to chug afterwards is your own business.

The logic part of my brain has to agree. The volume of alcohol in a beer does not change if you drink from a straw, can, bottle or glass. The only way I can think that there would be any correlation between the straw and the feeling of drunkenness is if the straw makes you feel like you are drinking less than you actually are. Physically, there is no reason drinking beer through a straw would accelerate intoxication.
