So I got the announcement about the 29th gathering for the season ticket holders. In a previous article I read it mentioned something about thanking the fans and such and not being a banquet this year. Does anyone have more info on what this is about and what they are going to be doing that night?

From what I saw its pretty informal. Food and drink will be available starting at 5:30 for purchase, Mack will speak at 6 and maybe give a couple awards, then an autograph session for little ones. Think its from 5:30-7. Somebody correct me if I'm wrong.

I reserved two tickets. It's a season ticket holder appreciation night. I wasn't aware it replaced the banquet. I wonder if that means banquet ticket sales were poor.
Certainly makes it more approachable. Though the time seems to be designed to limit attendance. Then again the season ticket holder kick off parties the last two years have done pretty well, I imagine this is along those lines as far as event schedule.

I can't swear that it replaced the banquet but I thought I read somewhere that it was but besides that I hadn't really seen any mention of a banquet anyway. Personally I liked the banquet but I really couldn't afford it for the the four of us. I went one year with a friend and had a great time, so maybe that's why they are doing this? Maybe attendance is way down? I haven't decided whether I'm going to this or not... was hoping I could get more insight on here to see what people thought but it seems as if they are keeping it pretty hush, hush.

I'm excited about this...great to have a basketball event during the off-season.
I would love to go to the banquets but I can't convince myself (and my wife) it's worth the money. This is great!

Email first, then a postcard.
