I actually feel bad for the guy and wish Satan (I mean the NCAA) would give the guy a break. Of course, I also think that Brett Favre was the great thing since sliced bread and I've been ripped by the Artist for this sentiment.

I felt bad for him the first time around. But to drag this into a second appeals process, when your coach and team have already moved on, is a bit desperate.

I would have loved to have seen Ben play another year, but, I never thought he would win the appeal. Since he had a redshirt year that was not injury related I didn't see any reason that he should be granted a 6th year. In this case I don' t think the NCAA was the villian.
