When they interviewed the NC State coach he immediately said their first half woes were because of Warren not being aggressive, he said nothing else about the team only mentioned Warren. Watching the sideline/ lower right part of the screen you could see their coach cheering more for one player than any other.
Coach Mack was interviewed and brought up the lack of offense in the first half and how X wasn't fully running the offense.
One of the things I loved about watching Xavier this season (this is my first) was their commitment to the Team and not having a real star. They can win without any one starter and maybe even two.
This team was thrown so many adversities this season, these adversities will help them grow and benefit down the line.
They never lacked heart, or character as a team only experience, and with this season under their belt they will be so much better prepared next year.
I am proud of these young men and sorry it will be so long before I can watch them again.
