Any idea how he is doing at Winthrop? With Bobo at Ga Tech and their team being what they are, any chance Kelsey ends up there due to his relationship with Bobo and his knowledge and relationships with that part of the ACC basketball world?

Winthrop was a game away from making the NCAA Tournament; he's safe at Winthrop at the moment.
I wouldn't count on him going to Georgia Tech anytime soon; they're still paying for 2 head coaches right now.

I read somewhere that Wake Forest had called for a press conference today - I think their coach is about to get canned - It seems like a perfect match for him to end up there. Although, I think that job is a wasteland due to the size of the new ACC

Are you telling me Jeff Bzdelik was a bad hire from the get go?
What's Dino Gaudio up to nowadays anyway?

Well Archie will be gone from Dayton. To be able to take a sub-par program like Dayton and make it to the dance is a huge accomplishment. I think Pat could end up at Dayton which would just be awful news for us X fans.

I think Kelsey has more work to do at Winthrop before he's getting a look for any of the jobs you guys are talking about. And the Wake admin clearly was looking to cut ties with the Gaudio era. I think Pat is considered a part of that and will never be a candidate there.

Well I bet Wake looks at Archie really hard then. He has ACC ties and I am sure he would love to coach in the ACC. The problem is do you think you can win at Wake?

Yet Jeff Battle is still there?!?

Personally, if I were an AD in a power conference (obviously I'm not, so this probably doesn't mean much!) I would want to see more from Archie before giving him a bigger gig. There has definitely been improvement at UD, but has it been so great that he warrants a job in a big conference? Any AD looking at him has to be able to make a distinction between Archie and Sean. They can't just hire the Miller name and expect Sean Miller results.
As for Kelsey, I don't know that he would even take a job at UD. I guess if it's the only step-up gig offered that he might, but I would think that if UD was open and going after Kels, then other schools at that level would be looking at him to fill a coaching vacancy. Surely those would be more attractive options!
