I think it helps too, for both covers, that none of the individuals pictured are super hot.

How was I putting down the swimsuit issue? You see a lot more skin from the girls on the cover of the swimsuit cover. That's a fact. If you're going to call a SI cover creepy with regards to the positioning of girls, using girls as sexual objects, etc. the swimsuit issue will give you much more to work with than this cover will. I think you're projecting something onto my original post - I just don't know what.

But, yeah. I don't think any of the girls, Larry Bird or Doug McDermott are hot. I'm sure they're lovely people. I just don't think they're all that attractive. Sorry if this upsets you somehow.

I think the actual girl is somewhere between the unflattering picture in the blue dress and the cover picture. There is a SI video of the photo shoot. She's not an unattractive girl, but she doesn't normally look like the cover picture. That's probably true of most cover models.
