Washington beating Utah would help too.
By the way, how stupid was the MAC to sell off all their games to Time Warner Rat Treadmill Driven Barn Housed Public Access SportsChannel 23,465 that can be seen in about 5 houses in East Cleveland? I'm sure the coverage will be superb, maybe even in full color with more than one camera and an announcer that just finished up his course work from the Connecticut School of Broadcasting.
I remember the X Temple game last year that was carried on that abomination. Horrible picture quality, terrible announcers and lousy production. That was enough reason in and of itself to get the hell out of the A-10.

Georgetown is still a bubble team so we should root for the Depaul longshot tonight.

I want Georgetown to win twice. We've got a much better shot of taking them out in the semis than we do with Creighton. And there's ZERO chance that DePaul beats Creighton.

Agree. DePaul winning does nothing for nobody. GTowns situation does not affect us, that is unless they win the whole thing, but even then, they would become the 4th team in. Would rather see GTown win, put a few more fans in the building then have us knock their ass off. Plus, it makes our win vs them look better and our loss less bad.
I would also root for Seton Hall. More attendance, losses look less bad..and Butler losing...the trifecta.

It's the post-season...strange things happen and conference tourneys rarely end up what you think they will. Anything can happen when teams are fighting for their lives.

My understanding is that in a couple years when the Reds and their contract with FSOhio is up that TWC may be a serious bidder. I think they're really trying to get bigger.

I guess it depends on whether TWC's new owner Comcast wants to get bigger.

How many people remember that Not-re Dome was pre-season 21st ranked? Now they are playing in the preliminary round of the ACC Tournament. Very dump-esque.
They might wish that they had waited to go into the revised Big East.

Losing their best player obviously hurt. Then again, it's not like they were winning everything when he was playing.

HORRORS!!!
There are empty seats and the upper deck is curtained off in Greensboro for this ND/Wake game!
The league is obviously not worthy.

Plus, did I hear that Sean McDonough and Jay Bil-ass say that Jeff Bdzelik was brought in to "clean up the program" and that he had done a "great job"? They also said that Bdzelik had to "chase out some guys from the program".
Wow, what a shot at Dino Gaudio and also Skip Prosser. I don't know of anyone who is thinking that Bdzelik has done a great job and I think a lot of those guys left on their own.

Yeah I'm not sure what that was all about. They should just tell it how it is. Wellman hired his friend who was about to get canned from Colorado and fired a fine coach in Gaudio in the process.

Ok, I'm getting worked up, and I shouldn't but ESPN and Diggler Phlops are such BS anymore.
They put up a 3 team blind resume as to who should be in and out. Phlops picked "Team C" with the other two out. Team C turned out to be BYU. Teams A and B were Pitt and Fla State. Diggler immediately changed his call, knowing that he was on a network that had a huge ACC contract.
Lesson. Watch the games and turn the volume down on ESPN. Ridiculous.

Ok, they're actually not going to do that.

Don't knock Time Warner too much - after all, we were treated to half the football season of your hometown team St. Edward!

Yeah, the Time Warner Cable will cease to exist in a year or so.
The MAC games seem to be going through ESPN 3 via TWCSN and they have the same announcer who has done MAC games on FSN Ohio and ESPN for years. He's aweful, but they don't seem be able to get anyone else.

8 point game with minutes left. Can Butler pull a miracle out of a hat? At least that would be entertaining and surprising.

Butler-Seton Hall looking at a pretty good finish. Hall up 2 Butler going to the line, under 4 timeout.

Garnering a crowd like this for this kind of matchup puts the A-10 tournament to shame.

Pitt is pretty shaky against bad teams, going into 2 OTs against VT, OT against Miami, losing to NC State. If Wake plays like they did against Duke, and Patterson has an off game, I wouldn't be surprised to see Wake win. Plus it's a lot closer to Winston-Salem than it is Pittsburgh, crowd may have a factor too.
