With the Missouri Valley Conference starting this evening (no Wichita State until tomorrow afternoon), I saw a tidbit in the local rag that I found kind of interesting: Wichita State has not won a Missouri Valley Conference tournament title since 1987. They've NEVER won Arch Madness (as the tournament has been dubbed since it moved to St. Looey in 1991). I think they've only been to the title game twice in that span.

If WSU cannot reverse their failures from the last three decades this weekend, another available bid will be lost.

Arch Madness always seems to be a big bid stealer. The A-10 is usually a conference to look out for in that respect as well but I don't see a St. Bonaventure winning that thing this season.

Cincinnati is playing Memphis strong. The Tigers are still in the game, but they seem to be fighting uphill against the Bearcat defense.

Halftime
Cincinnati 38
Memphis 32

Kilpatrick has 12, Jackson has 11, Rubles has 8. That's your seniors doing their job.
