I looked at that odds page and learned what is a person with a gambling addiction.
It's one who would wager on exhibition baseball.
Wagering on exhibition football is crazy .... but baseball?
After three innings the game in between guys who will stock minor leagues starting in two weeks, or even taking the buss home and the employment line.

Do they have a bet on who wins the jump ball during a Xavier game? You could win that bet 9/10 times

I'll pass on this one, because I really like Nova -3, but I'm not betting against X.

I can do you one better...you can bet on WWF Wrestling Pay Per View match results if you so desire....
As for this line....it's shockingly low to me. That may just be a good sign for X. The public is going to be pounding Nova with Stain out. Will be interesting to see the line movement. If it stays at 3 or goes down while the public hammers Nova, I may just play it. I don't really bet teams anymore....just look at the number, public betting and movement.

68% of the bets are coming in on Nova and the line has remained steady at Nova -3 and at some places the line has dropped to Nova -2.5. Vegas doesn't just give money away. I'm starting to think Vegas loves X tonight....I have no idea why, but I love it.

No, this is a problem with a gambling addiction:
http://www.local12.com/news/features/top-stories/stories/gambler-sues-says-he-lost-500000-playing-drunk-9088.shtml
And get this, the player is trying to sue the casino for his money back becuase he claims he lost $500K while playing blackjack and pai-gow, while he was so drunk he claims he couldn't even read his cards.
His case hinges on Nevada law which alegedly prohibits a casino from allowing overserved people to gamble, and becuase the casino continued to serve him more drinks while overserved. And the casino continued to allow the guy to write more markers (this is when you are so addicted to gambling you take out a loan from the house)
Frivious Lawsuits Aisle 1 - you go into a casino plastered and then lose, then want your money back.

That's the kind of sport where someone with deep knowledge might really have an edge. It is probably very difficult for the books to set lines on those games, so there's actually a decent chance some gamblers have an advantage. For a few years there were people who were killing the books on the WNBA, because the interest in the games was so low and so few people had good information on the league.
