Not ready to wrap it up quite yet. Will be there tomorrow in Chicago as Xavier battles Georgetown in the Big East tournament. On senior night, I still see the Musketeers playing with lots of heart and in good spirits despite injuries and team issues. It's a tough road with a limited number of players, but I like our chances on Saturday.

Musketeers battled hard all game, showed the fight, but GT was too big inside. Very cool experience at the BE tournament ... great to have the Blob in Chicago, the band and cheerleaders too! What a sound to hear the Xavier fight song!

Nothing for this group to hang their heads about. Adversity is one of those things that come along in every sport season, and how you handle it shows what a person and team you really are. First players backed out of commitments, injuries, suspensions, every possible roadblock flung itself at this group of young women. Years down the road this group will not be honored for victories or championships, but for grit guts and determination.
Thank you to each and every person on this team for your effort. You represented Xavier proudly, best of luck in the next step to those moving on, for the rest of you we'll be counting down the days.
