SJU now trailing VCU in the second half 43-40. A St. Joe's loss certainly can't hurt.

During a dead ball, they panned over to Martelli's 4-year-old grandson. He wears a coat and tie and imitates all his grandfather's gestures. He tightly folds his arms, strokes his chin, pulls out a whiteboard, etc. It's priceless lol.

I saw that, too. That might have been the cutest thing ever. Raftery said something about the kid having too much hair. Classic.

You know that kid is going to be a coach someday and that clip will be played ad nauseam.

Most definitely. He'll never live that down.

This is a great game, and I like St Joe's, but I like the idea of them in the play-in game rather than us. It could happen if they lose but definitely won't if they win.

They look like they're going to win though. Langston Galloway's pull-up three was Tu-like.

So, resident bracketology gurus here on hoops, what does St. Joe's winning do in your respective magic NCAA jiffy juicers?

Nothing. St. Joes is still a 8-9-10 seed.

A win basically eliminated them from the outside possibility of heading to Dayton. Otherwise, what MOR said.
