Mick "Droopy" Cronin...that makes me mad. Refs treat me different cuz I'm not Coach K.

The always crying toolbox is at it again.

Do UC fans even like YTG? Or are they just forced to except that he's the best they can get? I'm sure most would take Huggins back in a heartbeat.

From what I have gathered, no. No, they do not like him.

Im upset thatv he compared h kind myself to Buzz Williams. Buzz is a pretty good coach and while animated is also incredibly laid back. The story that Rick and Dan shared on the podcast was pretty awesome.

You know, I guess if I was a midget and ugly as f**k I would be pissed too.

Mick definitely seems to have a napoleon complex. I was hoping Mick's assistant coach punched Mick after Mick shoved him.

You just don't treat people that way.....ever.

And yes, many UC fans I know don't like Cronin.

He missed yet another chance to show people he's not the classless douche most people in this city think he is. Teddy Valentine was in the wrong and he knew it, hence he didn't give Cronin the T. So what does Mick do after the game? He refuses to address the fact that he two-hand shoved his #1 assistant and had to be restrained by his own players on national TV. When Justin Jackson is a calming influence in a given situation, you know you've gone off the rails.

Instead of talking about the heat of the moment and needing to keep his cool, he talks about not getting the same treatment as Rick Pitino???..future hall of famer Rick Pitino, national champion Rick Pitino. Plain and simple, Mick Cronin is the ugly little kid that always wanted to be in the cool crowd and still does.

My favorite quote "Where I come from you don't jump in someone's face" WTF does that even mean? Is there a place on earth where it's okay to jump in someone's face? Mick was a bratty coach's kid who went to LaSalle...yeah you're a real hard case Mick.

Also, the fact that the Cincinnat media didn't take him to task for pushing one of his assistants is an absolute joke.

Ok, let's compare, please.

We all saw how YTG acted like a tantrum filled 4 year old in a big game and the quotes in Smails' post above.

Now, how about how Chris Mack viewed how his demeanor had to be in a big game on the sidelines:

""I didn't have to tell them that. I tried to be that," said Mack. "I tried to make sure I was even-keeled with the officials, really make sure I didn't get emotionally caught up in the game because players are going to feed off of me. If there is a bad call either on the offensive or defensive end I'm not going to lose my mind. There's a long game to be played."

Yet, once again the fawning media throws the red herring out there to give the Jaundiced Leprechaun cover, while totally ignoring the fact that his overhyped team can't score again.

I guess this doesn't apply when he does it to his players about ten times a game.

If anyone watches Highly Questionable on ESPN2, they discussed the Mick-Valentine incident. Bomani Jones perfectly summarized why Mick's existence is a joke. If I can get video of this I will post it.
