Thor better keep his eye out to make sure X isn't breaking the total capacity that would set them outside of the City Fire Code.

Posted this in the other thread, but whatever...
Very cool. I wonder exactly how many SRO tickets will be available. Also, for those wondering, SRO is $30 for the balcony and $20 for the upper concourse. Actually pretty pricey IMO. I was expecting something more in line with Reds SRO prices, which are usually $10 or $12.

I could've sworn they sold SRO tickets for the first Crosstown Shootout game at Cintas in 2001, which was the last time UC beat us on our floor.

I don't know if they sold sro tickets to that game but there was definitely a standing crowd at the top of 201 (my old section).

I thought I heard an ad on the radio, or just a mention on sports report/news…don't remember…that tickets were available "for as little as $10"

So the balcony over the student section is where people will be standing?

Man am I pumped up for the first SRO crowd in Cintas history!

$10 Villanova Tickets
I just got back from the ticket office where I just got 10 tickets for a total of $100 for the Nova game. That is a great deal especially if you want to take kids. You won't find a better deal, and it is Senior night, the season finale and the #8 team in the Nation. I have already gotten rid of 8 of the tickets and pretty sure I have my 9th who hasn't had time to respond yet.
I don’t know how much money I saved from the ticketmaster fees by buying them directly at the box office. If anyone knows post that info. I am such a tight wad I love to know how much cash I just saved.
Game is two days away and I am already getting pumped. We are going to set a new attendance record to feast on the Blue Jays. And that will punch our ticket to dance as well. The TAS is going to rock like never before.
Go Muskies!

If Thor's in charge, we could have 20k at the game.

His alarm clock has a "manic" setting. This should carry him thru Saturday..he's probably driving around the West End shouting "king Kenny" as as speak.

Protip: when you buy online they add a $5 fee per ticket to the total price. You can avoid this by purchasing in person at Cintas.

Game is two days away...Creighton is 2 days away and Villanova is 4 days away. Just want to make sure you don't try using 'Nova tickets to get into Creighton game!

Wow the ticket Broker market (aka the evil Scalpers) - including XU Endorsed VividSeats -
Upper level seats high in 205 - VividSeats $131 - 333-SCALP - $178!!!!!!!!!! PER SEAT
Want to sit downstairs - seats in the back of 111 can be yours for upwards of $300 EACH
This has to qualify as the hottest, hardest men's basketball ticket in Cintas Center history!
SRO's are still available, BTW.

Just wait until we have a GOOD team playing this type of competition in early March at home. Then things could really escalate.

I was wondering the same thing. Could be the largest home crowd we have ever had (and I'm not counting home games played at US Bank Arena).

My ticket says "MBSRO301". I wonder if that means it is the 301st SRO ticket they have sold?
If Thor's in charge, we could have 20k at the game.
Well, let's take a quick vote and put Thor in charge! Rock the Cintas! (and if 20k isn't possible, maybe some beverage specials that make it sound like 20k)

I saved $50 buying my 10 tickets at the Cintas Box Office. I should buy 5 more tickets with my savings! I got a group of 14 going right now. It is going to be Snipetacular.

I can see why I left that impression. And Nova is 7 days away, I think.

Bring it on! I can't wait.
One of the things I asked at the box office was if I would be allowed to stand where I usually stand if they were selling SRO seats. They said that I would be fine. I may want to get there early though. I offered to trade in my seat backs for the SROs if they wanted them, and he said no. Then I saw the prices on Stub Hub and Vivid Seats and thought, I should sell my seats and buy some SROs, after all, I stand anyway.
I am not doing that though because I would hate to sell my seats only to find that the SRO's just sold out. I would have to buy my own seats back at double the price or some such thing. I have never seen Xavier ticket prices like that, it is off the hook.
It is an exciting time to be a Xavier basketball fan. And it is only gonna get better.

Couldn't agree more. It's also been a LOT more fun following other teams in this league and watching games versus the A-10.

Ten Cent Beer Night?

For those that did t get the reference, ten cent beer night was a promotion the Cleveland Indians tried. It was a rousing success until the ninth inning when all hell broke lose and a full scale drunken riot of epic proportions broke out. See Wiki for more details.
Snipe - buy the SRO then list your seats.

Oh and that was back in 1974 when the regular stadium price for beer was 65 cents. So since beer at Cintas is now $7, that would be like having Dollar Beer Night in today's dollars. The Cyclones get away with it, then again they don't pack the size crowd of a MLB game either.
