Seeding for the Big East tourney

The format is top 6 get a bye and then the bottom 4 play to reduce the field to 8 teams on "Day 2" of the tourney.

Obviously this will change but right now we're looking at:
1 Creighton vs Winner of 8 Seton Hall / 9 DePaul

4 St John's vs 5 Marq

3 Xavier vs 6 Prov

2 Nova vs Winner of 7 Georgetown / 10 Butler


I'd love for X to get the 3 seed and although Providence would be a bit scary, I'm hopeful Dee can slow Cotton down more like he did in our 2nd game against them than our 1st.

Agree, X should have beat Providence the first time if there was any defense played what so ever. Last game X won, although at home, with basically no offense. The big thing was Semaj playing on Cotton not Dee ^, and then getting those steals at the end of the game. IF the 3 point defense can improve by the tourney than I really like our chances. It would give X another shot at either creighton or nova in case we don't win either of the two home games left.
