If there is going to be a pregame Alum event for Saturday's game at GTown, will someone please post? The last time we were at the Verizon we met at the Gordon Biersch very near the Verizon Center.

The Class of '68 will be well represented. Student Council Prez Bob Joseph will be at the game.

One of my fondest memories of that Venue is the look on Hugs face as BJ hit that monster 3. Were you there, did you see it?

Wow. Loved that shot. Underrated shot considering the Purdue and West Virginia wins that followed. From the left arc....man that was awesome. Transition 3 if I remember correctly.

Chris Henry was certainly there, with Glenn Holt and another guy who was a practice squad type with the Bengals.

I'm almost 100% sure that the culprit of the poop was identified as a friend of a poster here who had overindulged in domestos and suffered a mishap. I will say that I've never seen more somber, funereal looks on a person's face as the bar manager who was tasked with investigation of the incident.

Running the numbers of XU fans who are committed to attend this game combined with the expert analysis by DC of the DC fan base, it appears that this one may feel like a home game for the Muskies. I can't make it from mountain country but I feel this effort requires a really stupid and futile gesture of fandom be done.....

I will be there. I don't miss these games. Just really glad we upgraded to the Verizon Center from that high school gym over in Foggy Bottom.

I loved that gym. I wasn't a mile away from the court like I will be on Saturday.

actually I enjoyed the that gym as well because it was so easy to sneak in liquor, there was no security at all. I guess my disdain comes from the years right after graduating from Xavier when going to games there felt more like a high school gym. They actually have done a lot of upgrades to the Smith Center since then. But still the upgrade to the Verizon Center means more of an upgrade in opponents.

PMI was indeed in the house, and I can confirm that reports of his demise are greatly exaggerated. Great turnout at Clyde's pregame, and notwithstanding the stinky result, a great day to be in DC.
