Does anybody know if this is going to be a standard sized bobblehead or the sorry excuse for a bobblehead like Jordan Crawford was?
I am hoping for life sized. Take the SUV.

I am not a collector but the Jordan Crawford bobblehead was among the worst and most cheaply made. It was a total piece of crap. The David West and Jame Posey are the most legit bobbleheads Xavier has had to offer. I hope I am there in time to get a couple of the Chris Mack versions.

I don't believe they made a Justin Doellman bobblehead, did they? Was this recently?
The only bobbleheads I am aware of were the David West, James Posey, Blue Bob, and Jordan Crawford. I recall a Justin Doellman growth chart, but not a bobblehead.

Yes the blue blob has a body that bobbles. It was given out at a women's game a few years ago.
When they gave out the David West doll, there was a line around the corner of the building about an hour before the doors opened. It was New Years Eve, and raining, yet there were a couple hundred people waiting in line to ensure they obtained it...including me.

I was kind of disappointed with the choice of Chris Mack though. Xavier has such a rich history of players to choose from. Yes, I realize Mack is our current coach, but how about Tyrone Hill? Or Brian Grant? Jamal Walker? There are so many greats to pick from who haven't had a bobblehead made of them yet. We go from David West to James Posey to Jordan Crawford and then to Chris Mack???

I'm not so disappointed in the choice of people but with how they made the bobblehead. So it said Coach Chris Mack but it was him as a player with a full set of hair. He wasn't a coach then, just put Chris Mack on it. Ok so you want to make one as him as a coach, then make him bald and put a suit on him.

I had that same thought. There are a lot of fans that know Mack as a coach only, and the bobblehead looks nothing like coach Mack, though I'd stop short of saying I was disappointed in it. I just would have done it differently.
I also wonder what the concession sales were like last night versus a regular game, with several thousand getting there earlier than normal.

Can someone enlighten me on why in the hell anyone would take the time to sell a $10 item on Ebay? I am not dismissing anyone's financial situation, but will the effort put forth really be worth the return on investment? The time it takes for me to list and sell an item on Ebay would far exceed $10.

With something like a bobblehead, that's already packaged and basically ready to ship it probably took the guy all of 5 minutes to set up the auction and maybe another minute to print out a shipping label and plop it in the mailbox after it (presumably) sells.
All I know is I'd do 6 minutes of work for $10.

I gave up weeks ago. It's a real shame. It seemed so fun and the legacy is just blown. Should have just retired the account when they graduated.

Very interested in one too. The Posey one is more my taste though. If anyone knows or sees any available, please PM me

Posey is often available on Ebay. PM me your address and if I see one I'll email the link to you.

How did this thread turn from bobbleheads into a defrocking of the Xavier Popes?

I'm not totally up and up on how one becomes frocked, but I'm pretty sure none of them were.
...then again that might depend on one's definition of frocked

Anyone interested in trading a Chris Mack bobblehead for the Justin Doellman? I really want the JD one and willing to part with my Mack one.

Gotta tell you.
Muketette Grad daughter and fiancé are up here for the weekend doing required Pre-wedding stuff and delivered my CMack bobble head. This is heavy duty, quality stuff. A lot heavier than I thought it would be. This will be passed from generation to generation.

The bobblehead went for $21.50 + exorbitant shipping of $11.90, so $33.40 - 5 bucks to stuff it in a PM envelope.

I bet those bobbleheads they gave out more exclusively (Chalmers, Doellman, etc) would fetch a lot more than $33.40.
Those who have them, keep that in mind if you need some quick cash.

Would you pay $100? Is that what your'e saying... i'm not offering as I don't have a Chalmers or Doellman.

If you aren't offering, then I can't say what I would pay.
Supply and Demand alone dictate the price would be considerably higher than the bobbleheads given out in larger numbers at the games.

I'm not sure about that. Supply would certainly say that, but demand is going to be significantly less for a Doellman than for a West.

Found this interesting "throwback" article from everyone's favorite XU Sports Reporter Dustin Down (link (http://enquirer.com/xavier/2002/11/18/wwwxu18.html))
Talks about the (now elusive) David West Bobblehead.

I am now in possession of a second Chris Mack bobblehead. I am willing to sell, but would rather trade for one I don't have.

Not to hijack this thread, but I was digging through a closet of mine and came across a basketball signed by the Desert Raccoon along with the entire team when they had Lavender, Raymond, Caudle, and Wolfe, along with many others that are difficult to read. Any interest? Send me a PM.

I too have a Mack bobblehead that I am willing to trade for a Doellman if anyone is interested.
