Of course there are loads of reasons to despise that program, from Dookie V to nasty Coach K, but here is yet another. See this: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/10469410/acc-admits-referee-mistake-duke-blue-devils-maryland-terrapins-game.

Talk to any ACC fan that doesn't follow Duke...and throw in Xavier fans from the 2004 NCAA. Duke always gets the calls, always...even when they are mistakes.

For those of us who hate Duke, let's just stipulate to that fact and require no more discussion or written proof to determine our hatred.
Note: LA, 87, Nigel are you impressed with my command of legal vernacular?

This isn't as much a Duke thing as it is a screw-Maryland-out-the-door thing.
The folks in the ACC offices had to be laughing their asses off while they were pretending to be apologetic to Maryland.
Breathe if you hate Dook.
And don't if you don't?
My kids went to several years of UNC summer camps down the road. Much better camp. Duke kids were outside on blacktop and for some reason we went into Duke administrative offices where the kids who had passed out from the heat were splayed all over couches and floors. UNC gyms were NOT all air conditioned, but they were NOT on black top in the sun. Geez! However, Cameron Indoor is left open for visitors to come through. On multiple occasions our little group were the only folks in there up in the stands and walking on the floor. My kids stood at those free throw lines and got a hell of a kick out of it. Their mantra is still "Duke is puke", but the time alone in the gym is cool. Try it if you're nearby.
