Outside of SC none of the other 3 are anything close to consistent. Dee Davis has given the most production, but it would be a huge help if all 3 would begin playing better.

I voted Semaj & Randolph only because the kid has upside with his height (compared to Dee) and we will have three more years of him.

Plus he needs to regain the confidence he played with early in the season, especially during the Shootout.

You just have to play and stop overthinking things. Both Dee and Brandon are guilty of this. Dee was playing really well being the facilitator and knocking down shots when he was open. When Dee tries to do too much or go to fast, he struggles. Brandon still looks scared at times. Time to sack up and do what your capable of for him. I think a role similar to Dee's for Brandon would work well. I'd also like to see him take some guys off the dribble and penetrate creating either a scoring oppty of dishing it off. He has the speed and ball handling skiills to make this happen,.

Why no Randolph/Myles Davis option?

Have you seen Macks comments? Both are struggling to defend.....which is normal for frosh

Dee and it's not even close. Dee has had a rough trio of games, but was really good in the eight previous games, often the unheralded MVP of the game. It's more likely that he returns to that form than one of the freshmen made a big improvement.

Next year, though, I could see one of them surpassing him. The sophomore jump is a big one.

Yeah Dee at this point in the season is still easily our best option even though the past few games he has been awful. I like our chances with him in the game versus Randolph or Myles.

Still gotta go Dee/Semaj. When we we're playing our best basketball of the year, Dee was on. He was aggressively driving into the paint off of both misses and makes, trying to make plays before the defense got set. Most likely at the direction of Chris Mack.

He's been doing the same thing the last couple of games - problem is the bigger guards we have been playing have been eating him alive. I feel like Fuquan Edwin stripped him 5 times on his own in the SHU game.

Let's be clear. Everyone was getting stripped by Fuquan Edwin and company on Saturday. Xavier guys were losing the ball like it was their job against Seton Hall.

This calls for some promotions! Raises and corner offices for everyone!

Let's try to keep in mind that the guard everyone says is 5'9" is second in the Big East in assists. Don't get me started on where he could be if some of those bunnies were hit.

Again, it could just be me, but when Dee tries to do too much, I think he gets into trouble. Handle the ball and run the offense is priority number one. When the situation calls for it, penetrate and try to create. When you get an open shot in the flow of the offense, take it.

When his teammates outside of Semaj and Stainbrook aren't playing well on offense, I think Dee feels he has to go outside his comfort zone to make something happen and to take some of the burden off those two. Maybe in the end it's not the right approach, but there's some sense to it. It's harder for a pass-first point guard to be successful when there isn't strong offense around him. I will admit this: In crunch time, Dee has shown the ability to hit some big shots. I swear his mid-30s three-point percentage jumps up to 50% or something in "clutch" moments.
