It was great seeing some of you fellas at the half but it made me want to get another bus trip going. I'd be happy to help plan it out (with some help). Chicago would be a good trip. We could do Indy if we had to. Or even a non-con away game. When next year's schedule comes out we need to find a good weekend game/destination and make this happen.

I'm game. I only have 2 rules: 1) Everyone agrees going in that it's not a family show. Nobody is going to bitch because they saw a couple nekkid boobs on the bus TV's. 2) Dibs on any chicks in the bars that look like they might be the cast of the new Golden Girls.

Agreed. In fact I might bitch if I don't see some Golden Girl boobs.

I am down, but if I start choking, the nearest EMT is obligated to help clear my air way!

Would definitely be game for a road trip. And next year sounds about right as to when I might be able to leave the house:lmao:

In!

I would guess that next years schedule will probably include Saturday games in maybe all 3- Chicago, Indy and New York. Even Philly could work, but I hate that town.

Great seeing everybody yesterday. Snipe, however, just couldn't leave his throne on high, though.

Chicago is the best option for a bus trip. Anything longer than a 5 hour car ride and you get into multiple drivers and the price jumps. Chicago is also a great place to road trip to. Let's hope for a Saturday afternoon game in Chicago. I'm also openly recruiting for an EMT that is actually willing to jump into action.

Agreed. Chicago is a great pick. Indy is Ok for an alternative.

The arena in Chi is out by O'Hare but we should stay in a downtown hotel. We can get in more trouble there.

If this bus trip becomes a Gary Griffin tribute in Chicago, I can only imagine what kind of stories will come out of that.

Is easily be in for this. A downtown hotel near a subway line.

Milwaukee is doable, and they play downtown. Would be up for Chicago though. We can't stay in the burbs of Chicagoland though. That would be like vacationing at Kenwood Mall.

We had a great pregame event in Chicago this year and a great outcome vs DePaul. This year, I was a bit disappointed as I thought the Xavier crowd only matched the DePaul crowd. Next year we can do better especially with a bus load of ....

Definitely stay downtown. Winter hotels, as long as there isn't a big convention, are very very reasonable (<$100, but the parking remains at $50/night, so take the bus).
