2-4 in Big Ten play now...still ranked in the Top 20.

I love the fact that they lost their last 4 games.. I hope they continue to struggle. I hate OSU and their fans. Xavier is proving more and more to be the best team in Ohio.

They will be next week for sure but everyone is going to claim Nova is overrated now. Creighton would beat Arizona by the same margin if they're that hot from three. What's crazy is that McDermott was still recovering from the flu tonight.

ND has since lost their best player, so the win at the time is a little better than what it appears now, but to your point, Ohio is pretty good.

I'm not sure at this point who I fear more - Wragge or McDermont. Those two are a scary combination.

I think Creighton would have beaten anyone in the country last night. Anybody. when was the last time a team hit 21 threes, and lost to anyone??

I'd venture to say over half of them (actually, WAAAY over half) were from several feet beyond NBA three. They were hitting from so far away that the defense doesn't even extend out that far, so you really can't blame it on the defense.

I don't think you can say that last night was at all typical of how Creighton plays. I wouldn't expect that kind of an on night again, but if they ever are that hot, they will beat anyone. When you throw in fifteen or so shots that are closer to mid-court than they are to the top of the key, you're going to beat anyone.

Yes but we were even joking that they were hitting from the concession stand when we played them and they weren't even as hot as last night. I guess we can see what happens when they get up for a game. I hope they don't get that excited for ours.

OSU lost after the polls came out so the loss won't be reflected until next week. My hunch is that they'll be out or close to out of the Top 25 next Monday. Also, this four game losing streak and skunking UC, places Xavier back in it's rightful place as the best DI men's college basketball team in Ohio.
