Wow. I don't even know what to say to that. I will wait for others to comment.

That was awesome. I have laughed several times rewatching it on youtube.

This is another Richard Sherman gem: http://deadspin.com/richard-shermans-email-to-his-stanford-dorm-is-pricele-922762394?utm_campaign=socialflow_deadspin_twitter&utm_source=deadspin_twitter&utm_medium=socialflow

Best Mister T impression in some years. Best clutch situation defensive play on game winning pass as well.

Zip em up.

But seriously, if you listened to his two other post game interviews, he was very calm.

Just a heat of the moment thing, I don't blame him.

Agreed, just like the interview with FSU QB after winning the national championship. heat of the moment,,,, emotions sky high, sure a little rough on grammer, so would anyone be!

From scanning the complainers over on FB, it's mostly non fans who are doing the complaining

Yeah sticking a mic on him minutes after making the biggest play of his life after battling for 3 hours might have had a little to do with that.

But Richard, the best corner in the game would knock the ball down....not up.

LOL RT @Airdemon2100: How can you be a black man and accept the way Sherman acted? Right on the eve of MLK day he makes what he did null.

I thought it came across as kinda being a dick. It was classless.

I get the heat of the moment type of thing but that interview was not exactly right after the game. He already had time to chill a bit. However, I am not going to lose any sleep over it.

Yeah not impressed with him either. But I also don't care. Not much of a Super Bowl interest for me this year.

It made me wonder what the other guy said to him. Was it just disrespect or did he say something really inappropriate. Honestly, it would make a difference in my opinion but since I likely will never know, I'm keeping neutral on the guy.

The reporter's reaction was priceless, though.

It was a first down play and he made a great play on the ball.

It's not like he tried to keep the ball in the air.

He sounded like a tool in the interview. But one hell of a play.

It was like 5 minutes after the play but like 10 seconds after the time ran out. Thats still heat of the moment with celebrating.

Richard was still running his mouth well after. He made a great play, he's a very good player, but man. How are you not exhausted after all that talking?

Right after the play, Sherman gave Crabtree the choke hand motions,,,, pretty much screaming in his face. Crabtree shoved Sherman off with his hand in the facemask.
Later, Crabtree, said it was a great play but said they had their way all game long with Seattle's secondary, that the one play was pretty much all Sherman did the whole game. Kaepernick's 14-24 for 153 yards, Crabtree caught 4 of 8 passes thrown to him for 52 yards. not exactly having their way. General post loss smack.

Are you all talking about the Erin Andrews 2 sentence interview? Or the one the guy from ESPN did a little later?

The really good players talk about their teammates and team related goals. This guy is all about himself. There are plenty of famous people who were egomaniacs, among them Napoleon, Hitler, Stalin, Pol Pot, etc. Have some humility moron!

He's Crabtree's response:

“He’s a TV guy. I’m not a TV guy. I play ball. He makes one play (http://www.insidebayarea.com/49ers/ci_24947417/richard-sherman-blasts-michael-crabtree?source=rss), he talks … We’re on the field and he ain’t doing nothing,” Crabtree said, via the San Jose Mercury News. “That’s one play he made. … That’s probably the only play he made the whole game.”

He shouted out LOB. Those are his teammates. And did you compare a football player to some of te worst people in history?

This is a good read on last night http://www.sbnation.com/nfl/2014/1/20/5319032/richard-sherman-interview-nfc-championship-2014

That's the silliest thing I've ever heard.

Anyone who starts complaining about "class" in sports needs to take sports and themselves less seriously.

Wow, you and Juice are a bit tight this morning. Ever heard of hyperbole? Maybe a little :big grin: would have helped in my original post. Frankly, I can give two craps about Sherman.

So many people are upset at Sherman you would have thought he dropped a G-bomb in the postgame interview.

Ya know, "gangstas".

I think any time you drop a Hitler reference, you're taking it too far, big grin or not.

The guy was pumped up. It's a game. He made a big play at the end of the game. Maybe he made an ass of himself, but it's all just trash talk around a game. I really don't get what the problem is.

Now Sherman's brother is claiming Crabtree tried to start a fight with him at a charity event earlier in the year.... (link (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2014/01/20/report-crabtree-tried-to-fight-sherman-at-a-charity-event-last-year/))

His postgame interview is one thing; nothing more than heat of the moment trash talk. A violent man in a violent game saying violent things. No surprise there. But that interview on ESPN was over the top. I'm not a fan of most of their reporters either but Sherman came across as flat out batty. The guy is seriously living in his own reality.

I don't think it was classless, mostly because I don't see how anyone can bring a classiness argument with them to a game where men try to bash each other's bodies to smithereens over a ball.

That said, he looked like a moron. It was funny in that "Look! This dude has totally lost his mind on national television and no one knows what the hell he's talking about" sort of way. If nothing else, he seems to have something of a short fuse or has a tendency to fly off the handle over every thing.
