I know this should be on the ticket thread. But due the time factor I put it on here. I just moved from Cincinnati to O'Neill ,NE.( 3 hrs from Omaha) I am long time X fan and former season ticket holder. A couple buddies and myself are making the trek to the Creighton game tomorrow but we only have 2 tickets. I was wondering someone going to the game has an extra one. I'll check this board before we leave in the morning Thanks

Hey, Creighton fan here. Just wanted to let you know that there are always at least 30 people trying to sell their tickets for dirt cheap right before the game. I dunno if it'll be different cause we are all so hyped for this game but I thought I'd let you know

The game is sold out. Actually every conference game except for St Johns has been sold out for several months. That being said, you can probably find a scalper in front of the arena to sell you tix. I'm half tempted to offer to trade one ticket in Omaha for one in Cincinnati, but I am not sure I will be able to make that trip yet.

I think I can speak for all Creighton fans in saying that we have a great respect for Xavier. I've been around long enough to remember the nice little noncon series we had at the beginning of the century, including the epic Korver-West New Year's Eve battle. If I'm not mistaken, our last trip to Cincy coincided with a tragic mall shooting in Omaha (that game was scheduled to be broadcast on local TV in Omaha, but was understandably preempted due to news coverage all night long). A lot of us still hold a grudge against Sean Miller for refusing to renew that series.

I have friends that went to the NCAA tourney in North Carolina two years ago and they reported that the Creighton and Xavier teams were assigned to the same hotel. Apparently in our pregame send off at the hotel, some X fans attended and cheered for our team as well. You guys are a classy bunch. Glad we're finally in the same conference together.

I did enjoy that series between Creighton and Xavier, and it was a shame that it didn't get renewed. I'm glad that we're playing again, and that both season are having good seasons moving toward this game.

You will be able to get a ticket. I thought they get 16k for this game and that it sat 17k so I didn't mean any distespect towards your fan base. That being said you can count on a scalper unless this is the only place in the US that every ticket is bought up by a fan and maybe it is. They love their team out there.
