Xavier by a long shot since ours have good-looking females in the picture with them.

The second Xavier picture even seems to show the cheerleader on the left preparing to give her nearest cheerleader partner a little love-tap! I saw no such attempt in the other schools' pictures to be so solicitous to those viewing their mascots' photos.

Xavier clearly does, but I decided to exclude them from my voting to avoid the appearance of any impropriety. I went with Depaul. While they have executed poorly in the above shown attempt to cross breed Jack Black with the lion from Madagascar (edit :somehow the seed of Count Chocula is involved as well), I think the Blue Demon has potential to do something cool with it.

St. Johns is abjectly stupid. It looks like the St. Joe's hawk got really drunk in Mexico, got a poorly thought out tatoo on it's chest, and then passed out on the beach in the middle of the day for 5 hours resulting in a terrible sunburn.

I wanted to be objective, but the Georgetown mascot is the only one I think is in the ballpark with the Musketeer and the Blob, so I had to stick with Xavier.

I excluded Xavier (though the Blue Blob is awesome), so I went with Marquette, because the Golden Eagle doesn't look downright ridiculous like most of the others.

I was tempted to go with the Friar, though, because of how horrifying it is.

These are some freaking awful mascots. I about spit out my breakfast when I saw the Friar. (The Indians get in an uproar about using their image for sports. If I was a friar, well...) Anyway, I think Georgetown has the best one (leaving us out of it). Maybe he should wear a jersey though? To look a little more Georgetownish.

For them, perhaps, but if there is a Big East mascot comic book then he leads the evil side and D'Artagnan is the soldier of God sent among us to defeat the evil demon. In this scenario the Friar is the side-kick.

Aside from X:

The Hoyas mascot is the best all around, and Providence is best for the comical, creepy sorta thing.

As for the logos posted, I like Butler's the best. Although the array of logos doesn't have Creighton's new logo nor the primary letter logos for Xavier, Marquette, Georgetown, and St. John's. Including the aforementioned logos, I think I like St. John's the best.

I always thought we were kind of lame to be perfectly honest, but we rank pretty high in that group! Sadly, I must admit to liking the ugly bulldog too (just because I'm a dog guy), but some of those schools should be embarrassed!!! Really.

I give extra points for being unique so as much as I love dogs, particularly ugly ones, I'd be hard pressed to ever rank a Bulldog mascot high. Or a bird or a cat. I prepped my avatar updates in a couple of sittings and I have to say, it gets old quick seeing the same type of mascot over and over. I'll take a Billiken or a freaky Friar over a dog any day. I love that X has the French literary meets Jesuit reference and the randomness of the Blob.

So I was watching the Butler/Providence game last night and let's just say that our picture of the Friar does not do it justice. If possible its 10x worse to see it live on tv. The face almost looked like a skeleton from my view.

was trying to see if I could find an image of that but was unsuccessful. What I did find was pictures of the current mascot without the hood on and while the mascot is still creepy, its a lot less creepy with the hood off.
