Of course one of the the significance of today is Xavier is playing Marquette but in addition to that today is someones birthday. In fact he is 75 today. This man took me to my first Xavier game at Schmidt Fieldhouse, which was the last game ever there has made me into a Xavier fan. Today he and his wife have season tickets a little behind the bench and have been following Xavier basketball at least since the late 80's and that includes road games. I will NEVER forget, I mean NEVER, the NIT game at the Gardens against Ohio State with this mans father and his 2 sons at that game! In fact, this fan, remembers a trip he made to ETSU in the middle of a snow storm. This man lives for Xavier basketball! The man I am speaking of is my dad! Dick Rosmarin. Dad thanks for ALL those wonderful memories and Happy Birthday!!

Dick Rosmarin is a great American and Xavier fan! Not sure if he reads this board but I first met him probably around 1999 or 2000 when I started helping him on his side "hobby" of picking up the garbage from the North Bend Road exit off I-75. He even was bringing his own lawnmower to keep the traffic islands looking proper since the county (or state?) rarely got around to it. I believe the Enquirer did a human interest story about him. Happy birthday Dick from your old garbage buddy from Carthage!
