We Survived the Non-Con

So, where it would have been better had we beaten Iowa, we still came through the non-conference part of the schedule OK.

Record- 10-3
No bad losses
RPI- 40
SOS-41

Now take care of business in the league..don't have to win it, but finish with 10-11 wins minimum prior to MSG and in the top 5 and we should be good to Dance.

Just as a psychological thing, I would love to see us stay under 10 losses but that would mean we go 12-6 in conference and then win the BE tournament. That would be great, but probably unlikely.

So assuming one loss in the BE tournament that means we have to go 13-5 in conference. Let's say we go undefeated at home, which would mean we go 4-5 on the road. I can see us getting road wins at Butler, St. Johns, DePaul, and Seton Hall. If we lose 1 at home we have to make one up on the road and go 5-4. That's a daunting task for our first year in the new conference but, I could see us picking up one more win at Marquette or maybe Providence.

So this is all just conjecture and what I would like to see out of X to set my mind at ease. It may not be realistic but it sure would make me very happy.

Excited to go for the upside rather than be faced with same-old match-ups and annoyed by sub-mediocre opponents like Dayton.

Right the big dance is at Lucas oil in 2015. I fully intend on entering that lottery. It would be great to strain to watch My Muskies from the upper reaches of the upper nose bleeds of Lucas Oil on a Monday night.
