To say offense was at a premium would be putting it mildly. Xavier falls to UC, 47-26. Not sure I want to know whether that breaks any records.

It's not getting easier. X's next game is against Indiana, who just beat Cleveland State 107-73 today. The Hoosiers have not played much of a schedule, but they're 12-0. Could be ugly.

Yes, it was quite ugly. 2 points for Crittenden and Wanninger... combined. 1 point for the team for nearly the first 10 minutes of the second half. Nine points total in the second half. 21% shooting, 0-17 from 3. They just couldn't hit anything, and when Hawkes tried driving they cut her off and it ended up as either a travel or other turnover.

We've reached the point in the season where the last two years have come undone- 11 straight losses from 12/9 - 1/24 in the 2011-12 season and eight straight losses from 12/29 to 1/31 last season. Hopefully they can avoid that kind of stretch this season, but the road ahead won't make it easy.
