X pulling out the stops for Big East debut.

Unreal that tickets are still available for this historic event. Really hoping this sells out. This program, coach Mack and the players DESERVE A SELL OUT.

So happy I have that day off with my new job and will be able to come up for it.

I also decided to take the day off. Let's get this Big East party started right.

It sucks that most of the students won't be there

If you haven't heard, Xavier is allowing for students to get two tickets for every game over break. A nice gesture by Xavier since those are seats that could be sold. But absolutely, this game is a must sell out. I hope the UC beat down will get more fans to start coming to games that usually go to a couple a year. Also, it would be nice to see all of the fans in their seats before the national anthem, just so the panoramic photo comes out nice

Unreal that the first Big East game ended up scheduled for noon on a workday. :nono:

My thoughts exactly.... How on earth are the vast majority of people who work supposed to make it to a noon game on a Tuesday?

New Years Eve, or not, who comes up with this?

The whole LM family will be there! I can think of no better way to ring in the New Year (about 12 hours early) than to win our first Big East game!

God invented vacation days for noon games on New Year's. No different than the NCAA tourney.

My guess is Fox Sports 1, as every Big East game is on that day, and all 10 teams are in action.

Glad my industry is dead this time of year and I won't have to worry about it. I feel for those who are working that day, but it seems to be a fairly common day off. You think this is bad, wait til MLK day when Xavier plays Depaul at 4 pm. Granted it is not a home game, but another game time smack dab in the middle of a day few people are given off

The good news is that if we lose at DePaul no one will see it.

Took the day off as well. Wouldn't miss it for the world.

The band will be there - reinforced with some alumni. What I cannot believe however is the student attendance for the Bowling Green and Evansvile games. Pretty much empty for those two.

The same could be said for Seton Hall these days. But let's not talk about things unlikely to happen.
