Xavier is listed second among the first four out. This is the best position we've held in a long time in on of these sorts of exercises, so stupid as it is I'm enjoying it.

Lunardi has 4 Big East teams (40% ain't bad) with 2 (Butler to go along with us) among the last 8 out.
For what it is worth, he thinks the A-10 is sitting at 4 as well (with GW as the first team out), but I wouldn't be that comfortable if I was VCU (who Lunardi awarded a 9 seed).

Well we know this can't be right. I don't see a day when UD gets in and we don't.

I'm of the belief that it is never too early for bracketology. I actually like the idea of evaluating the importance of wins and losses all season long.
We have a top 25 all throughout the year. Having bracketology all year long doesn't make any less sense.

These next 2 games will be absolutely huge in terms of our tournament chances. Say we finish anywhere between 4-6 in the conference, which is completely reasonable, the non conference could be the deciding factor. We play our only true road game against a SEC team Saturday, and then another quality league opponent a week after that. Should we win, with our only 3 losses coming in Atlantis, it's hard to argue with that non conference resume. Non Conference aside-if we finish in the top 3 in the league, or the bottom 4...obviously the conference play can still boost us one way or antoher.

The SEC is horribad. We may get points deducted for scheduling two of their members not named Kentucky. We should have scheduled from a tougher conference, like the Southland.

Interesting that he now has us as first four out since right before the UC game he had us as about 20 spots away from the top 68 per a tweet.

It's just too early to take it very seriously.
However, right before conference play is a good time to start considering this since non-conference play seems to be such a big consideration come tourney time.
