Didn't get a chance to watch this one since I couldn't find a stream online, had to painfully listen on the radio.

Before the game, I said that Cincinnati would live with Xavier taking jump shots and boy oh boy did they make them pay. 11-16 from three aside, Xavier still probably would have won. Simply a beat down from start to finish.

Congrats and good luck the rest of the year.

You are either fake, or the nicest UC poster on here ever.

Most UC fans do not like me because I am one of the few reasonable ones...

Thanks Burr. Best of luck to you moving forward. And I'll also wish the Bearcats luck, too. It will make us both look good and continue to enhance Cincinnati's image as a strong college hoops town.

You are a good dude.

As for the game: UC just walked into a buzz saw tonight. They couldn't make anything from the floor or the line, and X shot exceptionally well from the field and the charity stripe. UC drew a lot of fouls and forced a lot of turnovers, but ultimately couldn't convert on either.

This makes (I think) the 4th consecutive Shootout in which the winning team has won convincingly. Haven't had a clots game since that OT game at Cintas when Lance Stephenson and Jordan Crawford were around.

Yup...not going to win a whole lot of games when the opponent shoots 70% from 3-point range.

X looked great tonight, but that certainly helped!

I sincerely agree. I don't have any hate for UC (just Cronin, because he's a miserable little bitch), so I don't wish them too much ill will the rest of the season. Just can't stand losing to them and love the outcome from last night.

(This is partly because I'm a pragmatic, resume-focused kind of fan. I want good wins to stay good wins)

Nice comments. As a UC grad - I can attest to the scarcity of rational thinking from that camp. In their defense, I don't need to list the incidences they have had to defend (see MOR's rant: I Hate SucKS).

Disclosure: I could claim to be a former UC fan that saw the light, but I happen to be a lifelong 'cradle fan' if you will that could not afford to pass up an opportunity at UC to pay full at X.

That being said, I have had an opportunity to mingle on the dark side for quite some time. My brother also ran a drinking establishment very close to that campus for many years which I also frequented for obvious reasons.

Anyway - I agree that having both do well helps the profile of both - but, when it comes right down to it, all I really care about is Xavier kicking bore cat ass!

Ditto to all of the above.

Thanks for bringing some class. Hopefully your coach leaves the pink outfits behind for the rest of the games.

Lol. I can't believe he actually said that.
