Went to the game yesterday and came away impressed with the offense that Evansville ran. They were constantly in motion, working for an open shot, ball reversals, etc. I have noticed the past few years that the offense X runs has devolved into one where most players stand around and wait for Semaj or somebody else to take their man off the dribble one on one. Was this the offense that Matta and Miller ran? It seems so long ago that I seem to have forgotten. I will give the staff some credit with the occasional great play out of dead ball situations, but I have not been impressed with the offensive philosophy the last several years. Thoughts? Am I overlooking something or off base?

A great offensive scheme executed very efficiently by smart players can be an equalizer...to a point. Sometimes it can produce wins, but more often than not, the cream rises to the top over 40 minutes.

But I do agree, Evansville ran a very efficient offense.

Our offense at times is just downright stagnant. SO much standing around and watching. It is enough to drive you insane.
