Happened in Chapel Hill. So much for that #12 ranking meaning anything! I'm not impressed by Roy Williams as a coach. Doesn't help that I think he's a d-bag too.
Michigan got dumped too.

I am not a Williams fan either but UNC was without Hairston or McDonald. They still should have won but they weren't even close to full strength.

Agreed. And when you're down a little on the talent, that's when coaching needs to step up even more. That might be UNC's weakest link. (Funny thing is that I'm not a UNC hater and, in fact, have always been an ACC fan. I just really don't like Huckleberry Hound.)

He's such a p*ssy too. He cries and moans about the stupidest crap like the guy who was sitting by the UNC bench cheering for the other team.

UNC was horrendously bad from the freethrow line. It was set-your-head-on-fire bad.
Belmont played really well, too. They lost at Richmond, but they also have a win over Indiana State, and after the Trees won at Notre Dame that's looking like a good win as well. Belmont may not need to win their conference tournament to get in if they keep this up.

Syracuse had to sweat out SFNY yesterday. I think there are a few good teams in the NEC. I don't think SFNY is one of them. (I know they don't like being referred to as SFNY and want to be called Saint Francis University now, but SFNY is so easy to type).
Wake Forest had to sweat out Jacksonville. There are good teams in the Atlantic Sun. Jacksonville is not one of them.
Notre Dame fell to Indiana State (who actually does look decent, but still).
Has there been a more disappointing conference than the ACC?? They entered this season trumpeting themselves as the best basketball conference in history, and they have been underwhelming (at least by power conference standards). The Atlantic Ten and WCC have outperformed the ACC.

Watch it now. That's my alma mater. State will make some noise and challenge WSU for the MoVal this year. Jake Odum has been there about eight years now.

If by "challenge", you mean they will be humiliated and demoralized by the Shockers, then I tend to agree.

Duke will hold on to beat East Carolina, but yet another unimpressive showing by an ACC team.

NC State just hit a three to tie NCCU with two seconds to play.
Another amazing showing by the ACC.
God, I hope NCCU can pull this out.
