Really excited for the recruiting class after listening to Coach Mack talk about each of them on the show tonight. If you didn't catch the show, then look for the podcast that krc will make available later.

They usually talk briefly about the upcoming opponent, but they didn't evey get around to talking about Miami.

Good show.

Got a good laugh when Mack jokingly accused a caller of being a member of the Miami coaching staff for inquiring too much about the defense Xavier plays.

Gawd, we have a great coach.

Gotta make sure we pay him. He apparently turned down $16 million over 8 years at Tennessee, but we can't ever get complacent.

Just Listening to Mack talk about Makinde London makes me so excited to see him on campus (7'3" wingspan who can face people up, :jawdrop2:). It sounds like Semaj isn't going to be showcasing his jump-shooting anytime soon though so we'll have to wait and see how that shakes out comes crunch time of a game when the Defense packs it him and forces outside shots.

I love Mack, but I find this a bit hard to believe (that they offered him 2 mil per year, not that he turned it down).

FYI...Dilly is on halfpricecincy.com. If you go to the coach's show, you can get your food for half price! http://www.cincysavers.com/r/5ethU6srfN3

This is actually a great deal.

If you haven't been to a coach's show yet, the setup is first-rate. Went again last night and tried out the wings -- highly recommended.

I think it'll be hard to fuck that one up. Mack is a Xavier alum, and is pretty invested into Cincinnati. I just don't see him leaving unless someone like Duke, UNC, etc comes calling, and honestly, I just don't see that happening. I see Duke calling back Johnny Dawkins or letting Wojo run the show when Krzyzewski retires, and UNC going out and hiring some big name coach, possibly Shaka Smart when Roy Williams retires (or is fired.. probably not going to happen, but he's still a douche.)

No, that's fairly accurate. It's a big state school with a good amount of money, and they had to offer more to offset potential sanctions coming their way.
