1st Game at The Cintas

It's been a long time coming, but I will finally be making my first trip to the Cintas Center to see X play Miami on 11/20!! I've been a fan since the Chalmers, Sato, and West days (middle school for me) and am pumped to finally get to see a game in Cincinnati!! Being from the mountains of upstate NY, I've seen games at Albany (Siena), Fordham, St Joe's, and even the Izod Center but never in Cincinnati. My question for those who know the arena is, should I get a better seat? I currently have tickets for section 103 row Q. I'm not in the area very often for work so I'll get a better view if necessary. What are your thoughts?

Congrats! I wish I could get back for a game. No matter where you end up sitting, just promise you will stay all game.

Section 103 is a great section. It has some of the best Xavier fans, and is a great view. You are at the Xavier end of the court, diagonally up from the bench.

Yeah. No problem in Section 103. All the lower bowl seats have great court views.

My advice: Get there early and drink lots of beer.

That section is great. I am in the section at the other corner, section 104, and love my seats. And if you enjoy a beer, go to Listerman's on Dana near the b-school parking lot for some great pre-game libation.

Honestly, I'm a Xavier fan because when I was younger I thought they were a local team. Obviously that's not the case but since Lionel Chalmers was from Albany, Xavier was always in the news and had games shown on TV. Since they were a lot more exciting to watch than Siena or UAlbany, I became a fan.
