Lets bring it back. This is a perfect year.
I know the outcome stunk at Duquesne but it is about time to have another one. Obviously Xpectations wouldn't have to have an embroidered Snuggie on this trip.

The Marquette game on Saturday February 15th would be a good option. Marquette game at 6:00.

Anybody interested?

If the bus can pick me up in Santa Monica I'm in.

AH, I can't do that game. I'll be in Atlanta that weekend.

Unless guys can get off for the MLK Day game against DePuke, the only other option is the Georgetown game the following week on 2/22. It starts at 11:30am which means that the bus would have to leave at 4:00am to get there or guys would have to bus in on Friday night. Could bus back to Cincy on Saturday afternoon though.

I like the Georgetown game idea. Leave Cincy on Friday afternoon and then head back after the game on Saturday afternoon.

Jelloshots completely optional.

Pimp will have to bring along more "family friendly" movies however. "Superbad" didn't go over well with some passengers on the way up to P-burg.

I am already going to the game. Have a nephew who is a freshman there this year and it is parents weekend that weekend. So my brother and his wife are flying in from Boston that weekend to see him and are getting me a ticket for the game...

It's too bad the Amtrak is both insanely expensive and has a horrible schedule. A Xavier Hoops train car would be awesome.

I would be interested.

As long as we have NO jello shots.

Should we try the Georgetown game then? I am up for that.

Man, that seems like one long ass bus ride...what are we talking about to DC, 10 hours?

You just need to convince MOR to call in sick...then on to Marquette!

Just don't tell me that snuggies will be involved.

Milwaukee is 400 miles, Washington is 500 miles. Neither is like Pittspuke.

That's my point MOR. 8-10 hours either way. No thanks!

Creighton is the only logical answer.

Don't overlook Tuscaloosa. It's a Saturday night game...and it's warmer down here on the first day of winter.

Kahn's dropped the ball on scheduling a bus/boat trip to Atlantis for the "Battle for Atlantis". That would have been an epic and freaking expensive trip!

The thought of Gladdenguy in a Speedo lounging poolside between games made me throw up in my mouth a little.

Why isn't Butler an option?

I live in the DC area now and frequently make the drive back to Cincinnati. In a car it isn't that difficult to make the drive in about 8 hours. In a bus though I would guess it is going to be at least 9, possibly longer depending on stops and traffic conditions.

Speaking of Atlantis, we need a 4th for Thursday morning (early)........anyone here going and taking their clubs?

I want to go to Milwaukee.

There is no shortage of beer there, as verified by me....in bars....close to the Bradley Center....at the NCAA....in 2010.

I would love to go, but made plans to be away that weekend. B-man will be with me. Since I am in C-bus drove to Pittsburgh myself and met everyone there. If Georgetown makes, MOR can drive through here and we can ride together. Maybe he can convince the Canton Barrister to join us.

Hilarious. We almost lost a good man that day.

Another good memory from that weekend (not the snuggies though - whoever came up with that idea should've been shot). This time, no old couples on the bus unless they’re ready for some vulgarities coming from the back of the bus.

Can't make the Georgetown game (and I'm with xeus that the trip is a bit long) & Butler is during the week, 94GRAD. Not so easy for some of us nine to fivers to swing that. I'd be up for Marquette regardless of the length of the trip. That city was a blast back in 2010 for the NCAA tourney*. I guess the trips seem more fun when you win both games and advance to the Sweet Sixteen. I'm 90% in for Marquette.

*Must be nice when you have to go and research wikipedia for 10-15 minutes to figure out which NCAA tourney appearance it was where your team won multiple games. Would be so easy for Dayton fans to dig that up.

Can't we take that train that Obama was funding?

Is the streetcar an option for the next roadtrip? Couldn't we all just hop onboard on a brisk Saturday afternoon and bar-hop through OTR at an average speed of 6.7MPH?

I guess a bus trip is out of the question this year. Hopefully Butler is on a weekend next year.
