Too many missed free throws, too many turnovers, too many fouls both ways. If anyone touches anyone it's a foul. I think this team has a bright future.

41-38 Xavier at halftime.
The team doesn't look too bad when it doesn't commit dumb turnovers. Good to see Kayla Davis and Leah Schaefer do well in that half.

Didn't get to see the feed, just watched stat ball so it's hard to judge. But this team will score some points, 88 in the first game of the season, and while they did get a bunch of that from the line, there are some legit scorers on this team.
Anyone who watched,,,,, are they running????

I only watched the first half. My only other time watching the Women's team was the scrimmage at Musketeer Madness. They looked better then what I saw a few weeks ago. The team is young though. So I'm expecting growing pains.
Looking at the stats it looks like only 8 played? Really early in the season to have that short of a rotation ?

Know just a little of coach Neal,,,, he truly is of the "earn PT in practice" style. If the other 3 who suit up get in, it will be because of their fight.
This team will get what they get from the sweat of their brow and the fight in their hearts. I know that Hawkes, Wanninger, Crittenden and Zannt have an awful lot of fight,,,,, we'll see how many can add their names to that list this season.
Looking at the play by play, and stats, if not for one player off OU's bench going nuts from the arc, this was Xavier's game. Good things will come.
