Injured in the 1st half. Really hoping he's okay of course.

He was very impressive in the time he was out there, hope it's nothing serious.

Mack just said after the game that he hurt the same knee he just had surgery on. MRI coming tomorrow.

He also tweeted "I'm so pissed right now". I would imagine that has nothing to do with girls or his dinner choice.

I saw him before half heading to locker room. Seemed fine, no limp. I think it's not serious. Seemed to not be too worried.

Apparently nothing structural, but the knee was sore. Probably held him out as a precaution. No need to chance it in that game. We'll need him.

Do you know this to be a fact? Or speculating? Mack did not seem to know details post game

This was in a post game tweet from Shannon. They are having him undergo an MRI today as a precaution.

but there is also some uncertainty until they get the MRI:
Shannon Russell @slrussell 11h Chris Mack said he won't know anything about Myles Davis' status/injury until over the weekend. #Xavier

The fact he is coming off an injury to that knee, coupled with the fact he wasn't limping, gives me hope this was just precautionary holding him out second half.

I hope you are right, but Mack seemed legitimately concerned ... as did Myles in his post-game tweet...not good.

@slrussell: Mack said Davis' surgically repaired knee bothered him. Nothing structural, Mack said. #Xavier

I don't want to overly speculate here, but perhaps Myles tweeted that out of pure frustration; maybe it was about interrupting his return, rather than him feeling a lot of pain, worrying about more serious damage.
We'll know soon enough.

I agree with this Dash. He's probably just very upset that something happened in the 1st game even if it's nothing serious.

I had arthroscopic surgery on my knee last year. The site can remain sore for quite some time. Meniscus repair is a relatively minor surgery, however the soreness lasts a while. I would guess it's the first time he really had someone hit it hard, and it friggin hurt. That pain probably scared him. We'll find out soon, but I bet he's fine.

Ugh. We're looking at being down 4 players going into the Tennessee game, even though it doesn't seem like any of the injuries (other than Amos') is really all that serious. Hope the team is as deep as it has seemed to be so far, or that game could be really tough.

Shannon Russell just reported that nothing is torn and Myles will be day to day. Good news.

Great news! Martin is also day to day. We'll need both for Tuesday. Hopefully Dee is ready to go Tuesday as well.

Great news. I had visions of the poor guy missing another year.
