The thread was started after it ended. The link is a nice touch anyway.

I tuned in late and I ain't no XUAB, but Mack said Ft's gotta be made, even tho Jalen took five with a bad elbow and basically had no chance of making. Said he is normally a good ft shooter. He just had to get in there and play a game for X. High praise for Stainbrook. Said kid has skills and great BB IQ. Moves well for size, passes well, and always in position. Said he didn't "sit out" last year in reality. Worked his butt off and was often best player in practice. Came to X at 305-10 and now 265. "New rules" are tough but have to get up to speed immediately. Thinks progress made between Ohio U and Quincy. Joe said Brandon R. looked very fast in a straight line. Mack sez he is actually quite a bit quicker but has had a ton of stuff crammed into his head since @ X and still trying to sort out where he should be, what pass to make, etc. Thinks he will do well on defense eventually. Very high on Jalen and his abilities. Will play a lot if he can stay under control. Praise for Isiah. Said he was hurt almost half of the season and just had a hard time getting into the flow. Had numerous injections in his knee. Now 100% and in great shape and Coach expects a lot from him. Said contrary to popular belief, Isiah was the leader in OFFENSIVE rebounds last year. Confirmed what everybody thinks about JMart. Needs to finally have a "breakout". Coaches and fans still waiting. Said he will play the 3 and 4 when Coach wants to go smaller. Semaj is a great player and getting into leadership role. Had to play a ton of minutes last year cuz we had no depth. Has lots of options this year. Mack doesn't seem concerned he doesn't turn the 3 loose that much. Doesn't need to with his skills, but he has improved and will probably take 2-3 a game. Farr is work in progress. Has trouble with speed of game and moving feet and positioning but getting better. If I didn't mention 'em, it must have been covered in the first 15-20 mins. I missed.
Mack is very high on this team and thinks they will do very well.

I was intrigued by the part where he was talking about Randolph playing the 2 most of the time in the set offense, but playing the 1 on the break. Smart and interesting.

Thanks for the recap.
I sure hope Martin can turn it around. We need some shooting. He actually rebounds okay for someone at SF.

Was there last night -- it's been mentioned in the other thread, but the setup for the Coach's Show is actually pretty fantastic.
They had a couple drink specials going, and the food was outstanding.

Can Dilly Deli really be called a hidden gem if it's voted the "number one hidden gem in Cincinnati"? :-D
