It didn't strike me as a must buy right away. Then again that long line at at end of Madness. I figure I'll get a better look at it once the season starts.

Me too. When it's framed in the state of Ohio, then has BIG as the largest part of the lettering, I instinctively think of the Big Ten. Heck, even the BIG is larger than the X. Me no likey.

Not a great shirt at all, and frankly, I'm unimpressed. But ANYTHING is better than that joke of a shirt that was that bright sky blue or whatever. Whoever said that was a good idea should have lost their job. Awful.

It was only a couple of years ago. Hardly anyone bought it. It was a super light-colored blue. I couldn't tell you what the design on the front was, seeing as it hurt my eyes to look at.

The student section looked like a bag of skittles that season. Baby blue, navy blue, brown from the UPS D. Brown shirts, red and pink for Jason Love, lavendar for Lavendar. I believe the next season then followed up with Tie-Dye, equally as bad.

Not a fan of the new X Shirt for one simple reason - there is no Big East logo on it. If the state of Ohio had a Big East logo in it, I'd love the shirt. It would be a slap at UC as we are Ohio's Big East school. And after their bUCkeye state shirts, they deserve it.

This shirt sucks. We are Xavier, not Xavier of Ohio anymore. WTF do we need the outline of the state? Why no Nike swoosh or Big East Logo?

That was my first thought when I saw the shirt from a distance. I have so many X shirts as it is, that one didn't add anything.

Now the navy blue polo shirt with the Big East inmagural season logo on it, that was a keeper.

I like it. You can't expect the best shirt ever every single year. And in the end, it's just a shirt that benefits a charity and unifies the student section (supposedly).

To be honest, I've never actually bought one until the season was over and you could get them for half price at the bookstore.

If it weren't for the years of being marginalized as Xavier (OH). It doesn't exactly evoke the current atmosphere of moving into a higher level conference and the bright future ahead.

I get the stress of deciding on the design for the shirt. I never personally made that decision but a few of my friends stressed over it for months. Heck one of them was thinking about next year on the release date of the current year. Its incredibly stressful to have your design be critiqued in public and for you to have no say or defense. Much respect to those who design this shirt. I had the opportunity to have input on it for 3 years and willingly made the decision not to because of that.

This shirt absolutely sucks. I get that you wanted to include something about the Big East. This was not the way to do it. It is stupid. It invites people from other schools (hello we are not the biggest and not the best basketball team in Ohio) to mock the shirt and the program. You do not put the state of Ohio on the shirt. It has no purpose or point and looks dumb.

What the hell is the 'generation' about? That's stupid.

Or better yet how about just a damn navy blue t-shirt.

2nd worst X-shirt right behind the sky blue one.

Last year's shirt was the first that I bought. I really like that shirt. I agree with a lot of the peanut gallery that I do like this year's version.

So, I bought the grey shirt with the big X on the front and the Big East logo on the back.

Yeah. This shirt totally sucks. This will be the first time since the 'Superman' X Shirt that I don't buy one. Not good at all. I don't get the whole 'giant Ohio on the back of the shirt' thing at all.

Come on 12, it's a freaking T-shirt. No one is going to hold it against you; we love to complain no matter what the T-shirt is year in and year out.
