X loses by 9. Interesting that Randolph started over Dee.

According to the box score Justin Martin had 4 Fouls and 2 points. We need him to play better in order for us to be a tournament team.

OU shot 42 FTs & XU shot 49 FTs -- that is not a scrimmage unless the refs wanted to see how well they blow (their whistles).

These are nothing more than practice. A couple years ago, Jeff Robinson was the best player on the court against West Virginia.

Myles played. That's a positive.

Don't worry, that won't stop people from putting too much weight in it.

Maybe they were all learning the new NCAA rules that were just put in place.

Maybe they were enforcing the new targeting rule

We need the Mods to quickly delete this thread. If the NCAA finds out that we know about the existence and results of a secret scrimmage we could be facing a multitude of sanctions.

Well, this season has yet to have its giant WTF moment. Maybe this will be it.

I'm sure there were probably about 15 armed cops and a drone to patrol Cintas.

About what you should expect from a team with so many new faces. Randolph getting the starting nod is no surprise to me at all. He brings a lot to the table. D Davis is extremely limited offensively. I suspect he'll be used more for defensive purposes than anything. Martin's line is disappointing. Lets hope he gets an early wake up call or he could find himself in the dog house....this years different. Mack has options unlike last year where Martin simply had to play. Mack has his work cut out for him for sure.........

FT shooting looks pretty good. Particularly Semaj going 7-8.

I liked Philmore's 13-17 and Stain's 5-6 more. I liked 14 assists on 18 made baskets.
Rebounding and FG% defense need to be better.
All is not lost. I still have faith in this team. sarcasm font

Good luck expecting anything from Martin...he's a head case for whatever reason....He's another Robinson, the light is never going to go on, Here's a copy of the home game, thanks and collect your diploma Martin.

I think Martin's a player. He'll put it together.

Sounds like the FT defense needs a little work.

Random sidenote: are you aware that Bellarmine won at Xavier a couple of years ago? And yet Dayton hasn't won at Xavier since 1981. Weird, huh?

He's right. Xavier would be intimidated by a team whose best player by most accounts is an Ohio State cast off.

I though their best player raped the same girl multiple times, yet was allowed to stay in school and return to the team.

Since Derenbecker is gone, he's the best white player.

They were a sweet 16 team 2 years ago bud, better in one year than ud in many
At least in terms of ncaa success

I'm all for knocking on UD but at least make it credible. Using this logic Butler is better in two years than Xavier in every year.

I think the key here is that a Dayton fan came on a Xavier site to talk shit about Xavier losing a practice game. That's just great stuff.
