Purely Hypothetical of course and probably unlikely? If you could schedule one home and home series with one of the above? Who and why?

Should have had Kentucky on the list. Since they weren't I went with Louisville.

Agreed on UK. I voted Duke. I think UK and Duke are probably 2 of the toughest powerhouse teams to schedule a true home and home with so those are ones that would be the most exciting to get booked, to me. I wonder if Ohio St, IU, etc will ever consider it now that we're in a bigger conference.

It would feel pretty great to beat Arz and Ohio St though.

A bigger conference is only one part of the equation - the other part would be whether or not the Greater Cincinnati area is enough of a hot recruiting bed for major programs. It's not by accident that Duke schedules games in New York, New Jersey and occasionally Philadelphia (see their occasional games at Temple/Villanova). There has to be something for these other programs (why the phuck is Dayton in this poll?) to gain by playing X.

Honestly, it's not something that I'm terribly obsessed with.

Of course 94Grads vote was sarcastic. Had to be.

Damn, I didn't think anyone would see my vote.

I voted Duke. I want to schedule the series that would best position us for tournament seeding, and among the options this is it. I think Duke would be better from a resume standpoint than UK (since UK tends to get a pass in their early season given their young teams), but geography would push UK into the lead for me regardless. So I would have voted UK if it was offered as an option.

I put Dayton in the poll because I wanted to see how true the demand was for the game with other potential options.

Wouldn't it be weird if Jimmy Carter actually dies this year?

UK can suck it, and I'm not really that excited about playing Louisville either. I want the Cadillac to get run off the road by the Buick!

Screw Duke. I voted Louisville, although my top choices would be Michigan State or Kansas.

Get lop eared bums down to the 'Tas where we can taunt the heck of the team and the Beak. Trouble is, OSU doesn't have the balls to come play X at the Cintas Center. Cowards, all of 'em!!!

Ha, that may be the only time he'll get a respite from comments on his presidency. However, before the horses are back in the barn from carrying his coffin down Pennsylvania Avenue one last time, the honeymoon will be over.

Voted for Maryland. Closest game to attend. It's all about me.

This was a tough one. I was going to go with OSU until I realized that the only reason I wanted to play OSU was because of Thad, and I'm over that. Yeah, the Greg Oden bullcrap foul call was ridiculous, and my heart still aches for Cage, but, I don't know. Time heals most wounds, I guess.

Now, the loss to Duke in Atlanta, some small part of me will never get over no matter how hard I try. We were thisclose. It still hurts to think about. Plus, I loathe Duke. Who doesn't? I realize hating Duke is a lot like hating satan - everyone does and it's not news, it's not novel. Nevertheless I can't help my feelings on it.

My vote for USC (Trojans) is purely selfish. Otherwise it would be to get a crack at the Ohio State PushingCageshouldhavebeenatechnicalfoulers
