There are several new faces on this year's squad (including some who for various reasons had to sit out last season). Who are you looking forward to seeing play the most?

The Big Stain. I'm looking forward to seeing his post presence after him trimming down and commiting himself to improving. Our coaches have developed some excellent bigs in the past, and I'm hoping Stainbrook is no different.

I'm excited to see all of them but Jalen the most. From reading articles and watching clips of him play, he just seems like a ridiculously talented athlete. He seemed like a great kid when I met him at Meet the Team night too. And it probably helps that we've been waiting 2 years to see him so anticipation has been building a while!

Cautiously excited about Jaylen. Don't want to expect too much but seems like the ceiling is unlimited.

Stain! I think he is going to be the best post player we've had in awhile. Maybe not 25 PPG avg, but a very consistent all around game. Little bit of a throw back player (lots of hook shots). Jalen is an amazing athlete, I just think he is a little raw yet, and doesn't have much other than the ability to dunk and jump out of the roof. I do think he will win the dunk contest at muskie madness though!

Excited for all of them, but I went with Myles Davis because I think he has the potential to be a very entertaining lights out shooter and scorer. I'll probably change my mind on this many times though. I'm very excited to see Reynolds' freakish athleticism, Stainbrook's space eating and play making, and Randolph's development as a true freshman.

From an excitement level, I voted for Reynolds. I feel like we haven't had a player with his size, athleticism, and explosiveness since Derrick Brown. From a win/loss perspective, I think Stainbrook is the most critical of the new faces. We don't need to dominate in the post, but we need to be able to hold our own.

I do wonder when we'll see Myles. I know the original projections had him being ready for the season, but those seemed a bit optimistic to me.

We'll find out here in a few weeks.

Yeah. That's why I voted for him. I feel like he's been on the radar longest and I'm just not a patient person. Get him on the court already!

Pretty sure Jalen Reynolds committed to Xavier sometime during our first season in the A-10.

I'm kind of in the minority here,,,, Reynolds, Miles, Randolph I think we know what were going to get and yes I do believe it will be exciting. But for the team, and to give us a real idea right off the bat what's coming up for the season, show me some Stain!!!!!

J. Reynolds for sure. I've been high on him ever since he committed to X. He has the size and skills to be a great player, and he loves X.

Because I think the Stain could have the biggest impact on this team's success among the newcomers, I'm the most excited to see how well he will do.

It's also Myles, not Miles, and Kamall, not Kamal, while we're on this topic. :-P

Vote Brandon Randolph! He's from California!

Gotta be Jalen for me. I really don't know what to expect, and that's exciting. Take this as you will as it may very well not translate to game situations, but I saw Jalen just fooling around in an open gym setting last year and his pure athleticism just from a dunking standpoint is jaw dropping. I hope they bring back the slam dunk contest at Muskie Madness this year. He looked like DeAndre Jordan out there.

Jalen. Then Kamall just to see what he brings to the table. He is a complete unknown to me.

Stainbrook might be the most consistent player, but I'm really hoping for Reynolds to posterize the hell out of some people.

Based on Mack's comments in the radio show, the correct answers appear to be 1) Stainbrook and 1A) Randolph.

Sounds like Randolph has some Stanley Burell in him.

Reynolds is going to need some refining from what I hear......doesn't mean he cant contibute immediately....just remember he's a frosh

That's a slam dunk (see what I did there?). Jalen Reynolds. Sure, he may not be ready and has a lot to learn about the game, but as Mack alluded to last night, there are going to be games where he will WOW us all. He did it in the summer league and I'm expecting him to do it on occasion this season. The kinda sh*t that makes you jump outta' your seat and run around high fiving folks like the judges do at an NBA dunk contest holding up their 10s.

On a related note, who will Lionel's Locos/Stanley's Hammers be adopting for the next four years? Maybe they already have someone under contract. I can never keep track of that.

And, by the way, who the hell voted for Kamall Richards? No offense, but they better get there early (like during warm-ups) if they want to see him on the court.

Reynolds needs to develop REAL quick. He promised FF, and this may be the only year Semaj will be helping him.

Stainbrook. Having a legitimate low-post threat could really open things up for the rest of the offense.

He'll have Myles and Randolph helping him though. Add in a couple players from 2014 squad and I think we could see a deep run in his 4 years (if we're lucky) here.

I want to change my vote to Randolph. Most of us expected a starting lineup of Dee/Semaj to start the year. A large portion of us also thought that at some point Myles could take Dee's starting spot. The fact that Randolph came in under the radar and (from what it looks like) snagged the spot from both of them has me very intrigued.
