Xavier men's basketball single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, October 21 at 9:00 a.m. through GoXavier.com, Ticketmaster and the Xavier Athletic Ticket Office. New for the 2013-14 Men's Basketball Season, Xavier will dynamically price single-game tickets to offer prices that best reflect market value.

I had a feeling dynamic pricing would eventually be tried for the basketball games.

It's for single games only; I would expect to see a nominal bump for conference games, but I wouldn't hold my breath for $5 tickets for Gardner-Webb and Abilene Christian, either.

I hope they don't try to many "flavor of the day" ideas all at once, to the point they can't tell which worked.

Dynamic pricing can only work to inflate the price of the must see games, I don't see games being lowered too much, have to protect the interest of us season ticket holders.

I also saw a tweet where they have partnered with #LetsMoveDown a service that claims to allow fans to upgrade to empty seating after the game starts.
