They are new to div1, and they are on the schedule. I didn't even know they were a transitional team. I thought we'd just lost our minds and scheduled a weak div2 team for no real reason.

Having said that, they only won twelve games in div2 last year. They might be the worst div1 team outside of the bottom of the SWAC.

The article on their website is kind of funny to read. It's a wonderful attempt at positive spin. The real reason they're playing the schedule that they're playing is to get paid. It won't help get them ready for Southland play.

We will be their 8th road game in sixteen days.

I just realized that this is technically a Battle 4 Atlantis game.

So, I knew none of the following thirty minutes ago. Abilene Christian is a transitional team, they are in the Battle 4 Atlantis, and they are playing Xavier in what is technically a B4A game.

My calendar is circled. Should be a great one.
