Was out here on Long Island for a weekend wedding.
Just so happens that this was in Newsday today. Good update. Tu will be in Belgium this upcoming season.

"Sometime during his senior season at Xavier, Holloway said, basketball lost its fun. He said the enjoyment he felt on the court his first few years for the Musketeers had evaporated, and he increasingly felt himself needing to get away from the game."

But then he hits a spectacular shot over Jack Crewcut of Not-re Dame to send XU to the next round in the NCAA.
Fun restored.

I'm not sure what game it was in his last tourney, but there was a gliding "lay-up" that was really amazing. He was fouled, though I'm not sure it was called. Someone should search for vid and post it.
Anyway, Tu Holloway is a G.

Hmmmm . . . what event and ridiculous, nonsensical overreaction to said event could have occurred in December of his senior year that could have possibly taken the fun out of the game of basketball? Huh. Nothing comes to mind. Odd. Perhaps a session of reflection would have helped him overcome his melancholy.

So much for going forward - quit bringing up the loss to Oral Roberts.

If I recall correctly he became less fun to watch in December as well for a period of time.
