LeBron wins his second straight Finals MVP and the Heat win their second straight Championship.

As strongly as I believe the word "class" is over used in the sports world today, the Spurs were a class act after a hard fought 7 game series.

Props to all the old dudes on both these teams. Could be a few of these guys retired in a few weeks.

Probably a lot of Cleveland Lovers on this board that still can't get over LBJ. "It's not that he left...it's the way he left"

Absolutely, Milhouse.

But this second Heat championship should simplify and clarify the on-the-court part of things.

For people who need, I mean really, truly need, simplification and clarity.

Agree on LeBron, the rest of them are a bunch of assholes. Especially Wade, and Bosh and Battier. Wade falls to the floor everytime he misses a shot, looking for a foul. He and Battier spend more time on the floor than a mop.

It's a bummer that San Antonio couldn't take advantage at the end of Game 6 when Lebron shit his britches into smithereens all over the court. You just know that if you squander that opportunity, you're looking at a every uphill battle. The Spurs fought hard last night though. Ginobli was so frustrating in the fourth quarter. Shane Battier might be my least favorite basketball player of all time. Lebron is incredible, but he is still a major douche bag, as are most of the Heat franchise and fans. Oh well. The NBA, more so than any other man team sport league in this nation, is really more of a show to follow than something you can really invest your die-hard passion as a fan in. I was very entertained by these playoffs once again, but as usual, it ends the way you expect it to.

LeBron went on television for an hour to announce he was leaving Cleveland. It's something a bad guy wrestler would do. I can't stop laughing about that.

He should have thanked Art Model while he was at it. I mean...if you're gonna cross the line, you might as well long jump over it.

The Pacers gave that series away. I'm still pissed about that.

He is a lot smarter than people give him credit for - but can you really blame Cleveland fans when he quit on the Cavs during his last home playoff game at Cleveland? Frankly, I'm at a point where I could care less how many titles he winds up winning down in Miami.

I didn't watch the game, which I'm sure is no surprise to you. I looked at his stats, and if he quit, then his stats didn't show it. Unless I looked at the stats from the wrong game.

I don't blame Cleveland fans for being pissed. Instead of telling the front office and team that he was leaving in a face to face conversation, he goes on TV for an hour. Again, it's like something a bad guy wrestler would do. It was so absurd, it was funny to someone like me who has no skin in the game.

I don't blame him for leaving. He's been there for three years, they've won it twice, and almost won it a third time. You can't say that it wasn't a good move for him in hindsight. But still, that doesn't mean he wasn't an unprofessional dick about how he went about it. It was so ridiculous, it didn't seem real. In a strange way, I almost admire someone who is not even attempting to be anything other than completely self-absorbed. There's a strange, and almost admirable, sense of candidness to it.

His stats were never, ever in question. It's what he did late in games as a Cavalier (as well as how he left of course) that solidified his legacy in Cleveland. At the end of Game 6 the other night, he looked exactly like he did back in those days. He looked like the moment itself was getting deep inside his head, and the britches started filling up. But to his credit, he was great last night when it was all on the line. He's definitely a better player now than he was in Cleveland. As for him quitting in Cleveland, he absolutely did. If you watched the Orlando series, it was clear as day. He gave up, and din't even try to hide it. Regardless of what he's done recently and what he does from here, that pathetic display still happened, and will be part of how I personally remember him as a player.

It was Boston, not Orlando, right?

It was both actually, but he was probably referring to the Boston one as that was his last year in Cleveland. Lebron really did roll over in both those series.
