It seems Myke Henry, who requested his release from Illinois just over a month ago, has chosen his new school. According to our own Scott Phillips, Henry will move upstate and join Oliver Purnell’s perpetual rebuilding project at DePaul.

He has committed. Nice pick up for DPU. Even if he doen't pan out it is another former highly rates Public League player, which opens the door recruiting wise. DePaul has a nice freshman class coming in this year. Their best in a long time, the best is Billy Garrett Jr. a top 100 PG (his dad is a DPU assistant), RJ Curington from Oak Hill, and the real sleeper Thomas Hamilton Jr. When Hamilton entered High School the argument was whether he was the best in the 2013 class or Jabari Parker. Injuries kind of derailed the past couple years of his career. He also has a lot of pressure basketball wise to live up to his 7'3 father who starred at King High School in the early 90s. I still don't expect much out of DPU this season, but they do seem to be moving in a better direction.
