Fellow Musketeer basketball enthusiasts: A great opportunity awaits those who are interested.

A buddy of mine has been given complete control of MusketeerXtra, a reinvigorated blogging opportunity for someone with spare time and spare knowledge about Xavier men's basketball. Fansided.com created MusketeerXtra awhile back, but it didn't really get off the ground. My buddy and I are working to get things rolling during the dead of summer, hoping to add more bloggers to the fold to get a healthy blog going for the fall and beyond.

This opportunity is honestly what you make of it. In theory, the blog will work like the reds blog listed below: a lot of writers, a lot of perspectives, and a lot of good content. I started my own blog for a class, but I have been thinking of trying to get in a blog with more people. How often are you expecting each writer to put up a blog entry?

Wow, Xavier sites are popping up everywhere.

I started www.XavierBasketball.com about a year and a half ago, just a short & sweet blog site, as something fun to do and because it seemed like there wasn't much out there. Now, I think we're almost to double digits in XU basketball-related sites.

The more perspectives, content, and general talk about the Muskies, the better. I like it!
