Zach Price, a 6-foot-10 center that averaged 1.4 points and 1.3 boards for Louisville as a sophomore, appears to be transferring out of the program.
After Price posted, and promptly deleted, a couple of ominous tweets on Friday night, head coach Rick Pitino was asked about them on Tuesday at a press conference for his Maker’s Mark bottle.
His response?
“If he goes it’s not a big deal,” Pitino said (http://louisville.247sports.com/Article/NOTEBOOK-Price-gone-Rozier-update-133542). “You’re not going to hold onto everybody. If he does leave we wish him well and hope he has great success. I would say he’s gone because our players don’t tweet, so that’s a good indication. I spoke to him by text because he missed some summer classes, so that’s [another] indication.”

_______
Maybe he didn't want to play in the AAC?

Wouldn't it be classy of Mack to say this about our transfers as well? You know, really send them off on a positive note!

Price was a St. Eds kid who got sold a bill of goods. Moved down to Louisville to be closer to the program and got used. Then Quick Rick sends him out with a "no big deal".

I wish some of these kids would not be blinded by the bright lights and make better decisions for themselves.

Exactly why I suggested new set of transfer rules which would allow him to transfer "down" to a lesser school and not have to sit out

I bet that's hard to do when you're 18 and being wooed by the Pitinos of the world.
Almost would make you want to change your name to GodsGift.
