If he can shoot, 3rd team might be underrating him.

There will be at least one Kentucky player on this list by the end of the year, too, even if Wiggins goes elsewhere.

I don't see his shot improving to the point that he is considered a "shooter" in one year's time. That said, I also don't think it will materially affect his trade stock.

I think this Wiggins kid should come to play at X. We need a 3.

I was talking to a friend of mine last night who thinks he is pretty connected at Kentucky and thinks Wiggins will end up at Florida State.

We shall see.

Most believe FSU is the leader, but obviously you can never count out UK/Calipari.

I am interested to see if McDerrmott is really a First Team All-American. I haven't seen him play much. But I guess with our new generous tv package and the fact that we will play Creighton this year will give me that opportunity first hand.

Have I mentioned our New Conference doesn't suck?

That's what I told him.

I saw him kick UC's ass. Good times.

McDermott is fantastic. I can't imagine that he'll disappoint, though I'd be just fine with him having a couple of off nights against Xavier.

Great college player of sure. I'm glad he decided to stay another year. I don't see him panning out in the NBA. Semaj on the other hand...

I think McDermott will have a decent NBA career and I'm surprised that he didn't go this year. But I'm happy he's back, as it makes the overall conference stronger and more exciting. He is a really good player.

Depends how you define panning out. May not ever be an all-star but he'll be a solid rotational guy for many years. He's 6'8"ish and can flat out score and rebounds/defends well enough.

Wally Szczerbiak had a pretty good pro career.

He had a pretty long pro career. I'm not sure I'd say it was good.

He averaged 14 a game over 10 years. That's pretty good.

10 year career averaging 14, 4 and 2 is solid. I can see that for McDermott.

If you mean 14 minutes, 4 points and 2 fouls, then I agree.

He could score, but he wasn't good. Every team that was good or was about to be good couldn't wait to dump him.

McDemott won't be able to score in the post against NBA defenders. Cliché Creighton comparison, but I see him more of a Kyle Korver in the NBA. He'll play a lot of minutes when the matchups allow and he can shoot the lights out but when he has a bad matchup he'll be too much of a liability.

Korver was a better NBA player than World, in my opinion.

I can't believe Wally went 6th in the 1999 draft.

Wally World was unreal. Watched all his games in person because my dad had season tickets back then
