Report: Former XU coach McGuff to OSU

Twitter reports indicate that former Xavier women’s basketball coach Kevin McGuff is headed to Ohio State. McGuff just wrapped up his second season at the University of Washington, where he has gone 41-26. He also inked an extension through 2020. Here’s another story on that. I wonder how fans in Columbus will react; he can recruit but can't win in the postseason (2010 being the exception).

It'll certainly be interesting watching him and Amy Waugh competing for recruits now, that's for sure.

Indeed. One can only look back at his years and wonder. When you have 2 top WNBA draft picks, and a great scorer like Tara Boothe before them and only manage a few postseason wins you just wonder.
